Systems Limited sponsored Innovation in Healthcare – A Way Forward for Pakistan

Systems Limited recently sponsored a session on Innovations in healthcare – A way forward for Pakistan, held in Islamabad. The event was organized by Alsons Group of Industries, a well-established industrial group in Pakistan, in collaboration with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Committee (I&EE) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). 

The purpose of the event is to connect the industry and academia when it comes to technological innovation in the healthcare section. The audience consisted of notables from the medical fraternity, academia, government officials from the Ministry of Science and Technology, as well as military personnel.  

Systems Limited was the sole sponsor of the event and our experts highlighted technological innovation in healthcare and discussed the solutions provided to our clients from the healthcare industry and how academia can contribute to taking these innovations forward. 

Technologist David J. Howard from the UK, delivered a comprehensive presentation related to the latest innovation in the fields of medical science and biochemical engineering. His focus was on the need for innovation, especially in the field of medicine. He shared his personal experience of fulfilling recently developed health-related needs in developing countries all around the globe. 

Trends related to the market and technology sector, within the healthcare sector, were pointed out by Ashraf Ul Kabir, Senior VP at Systems Limited. He focused on System Limited’s contribution to the healthcare sector by providing technological support to numerous local and international pharmaceutical companies. He stated, “Systems Limited is working tremendously and has offered comprehensive solutions to the healthcare sector by leveraging data in each stage of the whole pharma process using data analytics.” 

Chairman PEC, Engr. Haroon briefed the audience about the innovation in the healthcare industry and how academia has been assisted by the council. The moot was enlightened about finding solutions for the arising difficulties related to engineering.
