Systems Limited and AWS Co-Host Live Webinar “Migrating Windows Workloads to AWS”

Tuesday, 27th April 2021 – Amazon Web Services (AWS) in collaboration with Systems Limited hosted a live webinar “Migrating Windows Workloads to AWS” that focused on explaining the benefits of migrating Windows workloads to AWS. Additionally, the session highlighted how AWS makes Windows applications faster, more reliable and secure, and enables better performance for less.

The virtual event was hosted by Javeria Fahad, Head of Marketing at Systems Limited, who kicked off the proceedings by giving a walkthrough of the agenda and introducing the speakers. She went on to shed light upon the offerings, expertise and achievements of Systems Limited as the Top IT Exporter of Pakistan and the first and only Pakistani technology company to receive Forbes Asia’s prestigious Best Under A Billion 2020 accolade.

Brett Spedding, Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), was the first speaker of the session. He talked about the role of AWS in Windows workload migration and how businesses have benefited from the “best global infrastructure to run Windows workloads.”

“Businesses benefit from AWS’s global infrastructure resulting in higher uptime and reliability. AWS together with Systems wants to help you go on the journey of migration, optimization, and modernization,” said Brett Spedding.

Abdullah Jamshed, Assistant Vice President, Cloud Services and AWS Track Lead at Systems Limited, took the session forward by highlighting Systems Limited’s capabilities when it comes to AWS as well as case studies and project executions pertaining to Database Migration with EC2, Migration Hub using CloudEndure and Amazon Workplaces.

The session concluded with Muhammad Amin, Head of Cloud Services at Systems Limited, speaking about the expertise that Systems Limited possesses in data migration processes and what Systems and AWS can jointly offer to enterprises.
