Systems Limited and Temenos empower Yemen Bank of Reconstruction & Development with Islamic Banking

Yemen Bank of Reconstruction and Development (YBRD), a leading semi-governmental bank in Yemen, initially adopted Temenos for Conventional Banking in 2007. In a pioneering move, YBRD aimed to introduce Islamic Banking alongside its conventional services. This Islamic Banking project began in September 2013, with YBRD launching its Islamic Banking branches to the public in March 2014. Systems Limited, a regional partner of Temenos, was selected as the implementation partner, offering essential expertise to realize the envisioned Islamic products on the Temenos platform.
